Rainbows. When was the last time u saw a rainbow..? or the better question is, when was the last time u saw a rainbow and went "WOWWWW... sooo nice!!!!!"

Ages ago ey? me too.. whenever i see a rainbow, i'd go.. "woowww!!! sooo nice!!!!" or when im in my dads car, and we happen to spot a rainbow while we're on the road, i'd beg him to stop the car for a minute just so that i can look at it longer..

and now it doesnt interest me anymore.. does it still make you go "wow" ? if it does, then good! haha some people never found it amazing to begin with. tat 1 i dunknow la..

k my point is

was it because when we were young and naive.. and everything we see, we find it amazing.. we'll fall for it.. issit becoz of that we find rainbows amazing..? Easily amused ?

if yes, then i wish i have a mindset of a lil kid.. i wish tat whatever i do, whatever i see.. i'd find it interesting. (except negative stuffz!) cuz i started feeling like life is so dull lately.. but i dont want to feel like that.. i dont find anything to be that interesting anymore.. i wish i do.

but a great thing happened today. I was going home today .. and i saw a rainbow! i was like.. "hah.. wow, a rainbow!"

i used to find some of the lyrics in some songs to be really over.. like, terlampau exaggerated bah. For example.. "Im so lost without you" or .. "the sound of your voice, thats what saves me" or like they say they're drowning in love.. or the love makes them go blind.. or their heart aches.. and stuff like that.

i used to find those lyrics ridiculous.. but then i realised.. love really does make a person feel those stuff.. like "Im so lost without you" couldnt get anymore true. its not just a figure of speech.. think about it.. say u just broke up.. or your gf/bf went overseas.. to further their studies or sumtin. Dont you feel lost? dont u have that uneasy feeling, you feel restless dont you? you dont LITERALLY get lost, but you feel lost.. :(

"the sound of your voice, thats what saves me" is not over exaggerated as well.. i mean, sometimes when you get in trouble, or you just screwed yourself real bad, you messed things up.. and your loved ones come up to you, or give you a call and tell you it'll be okay, giving you confidence.. and make you feel important and special, dont you feel saved?

and alot more ! but if i were to list em all down here.. can write book liao..

haha.. im not sure if im making much sense here.. but i just felt like sharing a lil bit.

would be, and when i returned, i saw Chris sitting by the man. The man was sobbing, and
I wondered what Chris had done to offend him. I began to apologize.

"I'm sorry if my son offended you," i said.
"the man replied, 'Offended me? Offended me? Your son is the only person who has hugged me in the last 20 years!"

"I realized at the moment Chris had a more Christlike love for this man than
I did."

I agree whole-heartedly that there is no "junk" in God's value system. He loves
every one of us the same, and He uses each person, even the profoundly
retarded to acomplish some part of His purpose. He will also use your pain,
although it is not always immediately possible to interpret it.

this movie won like.. a few oscars and u wudnt be suprised that they did if u watched this
movie..

my friend christine actually told me about this movie.. n my first impression towards the name
of the movie was like.. "erm.. sounds....... pretty kewl.." like not rili interested bah!
but then i saw the trailor on the internet n it seemed pretty good! so i bought the dvd.. (pirated)

&&&.. if i were to rate it on a scale of 10, i'd give 11.. i rili liked it. its great.
this movie is about a slumdog.. n he went on the "who wants to be a millionaire!" show in india.
and and and.. haha no more spoilers..

its seriously too good. go!

its an awesome movie.. its just.. i mean, its a very different movie. if u have no idea what this
movie is about, then keep it that way and go watch it. it'll be awesome.. n u'll b WOW-ed.

anyway.. a few days back i was walkin home from school. and i saw my neighbour watering
his plants outside his house. so i was like.. "maybe i shud wave at him or smile or sumtin.."
so i did. when he looked at me as i was passing by, i looked back and smiled and i waved.

he looked like he just won a lottery.. he was like (O_O"). then a few seconds after the
awkward moment.. he smiled n waved back.

LOL. then we talked to each other..

Neighbour : wah walking back from school ah?
Me : yalor haha, no car to use..
Neighbour : oh ic ic.. where u studying ah ?
Me : IS.. its at sttss.
Neighbour : oh my son goes to sttss.
Me : oh ic ic.. hey were u shocked when i smiled at u? >.>
Neighbour : hahahhaha ya ya sorry sorry. Cuz people in this neighbourhood dont really
smile at other neighbours.. so i was pretty suprised.

I thought i had bad breath.. or a really strong body odour when he gave me that response when i smiled at him. hahaha but it turns out.. he was shocked to see me smilin n like.. say hi to him.

Do u know what this means?!?! it means people should start bonding with their neighbours!..
infact.. people shud start being nicer and more polite to strangers.. not every tom dick & harry
u see is a criminal.. dont judge a book by its cover bah! especially on the road.
